Pursuing Human Sustainability in Healthcare: Standing Up for Care Together
Why Protecting Providers and Patients Alike Requires Us to Act—Now and Together
LATEST UPDATES
Welcome back, dear colleague!
Burnout is no longer just a buzzword.
It’s a lived experience: for clinicians stretched thin by broken systems, for patients navigating fragmented care, and for communities left wondering whether anyone is truly listening.
But what if burnout isn’t just something we endure?
What if it’s a signal that a system that asks too much, gives too little - forgets the human beings at its core?
That’s the conversation we’re inviting you into.
Join us for an inspiring conversation with Dr. Victor Montori, renowned Mayo Clinic professor and author of Why We Revolt?, as we tackle the crises of clinician and patient burnout and reimagine care as a shared movement.
In this session, Dr. Montori will explore how the alliance between patients and caregivers can transform exhaustion into collective strength, and how each of us, no matter our role, can claim agency to stand up for kinder, more sustainable care.
You’ll leave with practical insights, a renewed sense of purpose, and the conviction that together we can ignite a revolt in pursuit of human sustainability in health care, built on a foundation of compassion and collaboration.
